Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager Fundraising WA and Tasmania, this role plays a key part in strengthening how data and insights drive fundraising success, donor engagement and partnership growth across the organisation.
You will ensure the integrity of supporter data, deliver meaningful insights, and support research that enables evidence-based decision-making across campaigns and donor journeys.
Working collaboratively with the Fundraising team, you will contribute to targeted, data-led initiatives, support the development of donor pipelines, and help build capability in the effective use of systems and data—ultimately supporting stronger connections with our supporters and improved fundraising outcomes.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Fundraising Operations & Administration
Accurately process and reconcile donations across all channels, maintain audit trails, and manage donor communications, enquiries and administrative support for campaigns.
Database Management & Governance
Maintain high-quality supporter data, ensure compliance with privacy and data standards, manage user access, and provide system support, onboarding and guidance to users.
Data Insights & Reporting
Deliver data segmentation, reporting and analysis to support fundraising campaigns, monitor performance and inform decision-making.
Prospect Research & Pipeline Management
Support the identification and tracking of donor and partnership prospects, maintain pipeline records, and contribute to Moves Management processes.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, systems and processes, and contribute to system enhancements and capability uplift across the team.
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential:
Experience in database administration or data management, including maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Proven ability to process and reconcile high-volume data or financial transactions with accuracy.
Experience preparing reports, data extracts and segmentation to support campaigns or operations.
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to provide high-quality administrative and stakeholder support, including managing enquiries.
Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, including supporting non-technical users.
Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite and other reporting tools.
Desirable:
Experience in a fundraising, not-for-profit or membership-based environment.
Experience in donor/prospect research or pipeline management.
Exposure to segmentation, campaign analysis or supporter journeys.
